« Things are not what they seem. »
As a hyper-realist painter, Morgan has been fascinated by drawing siince she was very young, until she perfected this medium in art school in Brussels. The fluid texture of oil paint then came to complete her gesture to the point of becoming the raw material, with a particular attention given to the colours as well as to the shine. She developed her talents by being nourished by cultural life through numerous trips, mainly to the USA and Italy. There she enriched her practice with Renaissance art and American pop culture. Having grown up in the heart of the 90's with its digital revolution and its natural and human catastrophes, it is through these paradoxes of hope and disillusionment, of the ancient and the modern, that she draws the inspiration for her painting. Her works are part of an ideal and project a new mythology.
