About this artwork
My work on the animal world is primarily embodied in the figure of the bear, a symbol of both vulnerability and resilience. Inspired by Jean-Marc Rochette's The Last Queen, she becomes a representation of life confronted with human activities.
Created using natural pigments, my paintings directly evoke the earth and inscribe the image within a temporality… composed of successive layers. The gesture alternates between erasure and overpainting, revealing traces of the creative process. The animal figures thus emerge in a state of instability, between appearance and disappearance. This progressive alteration of the image echoes that of our environment.

My universe explores the links between humans and the living, by summoning animal and human figures. Between fragility and power, my works question alteration, memory, and our place in a changing world.
