“LIMBO” is a work that delves into the artist's inner depths, transforming the surface into a battlefield between soul, world, and identity. The vibrant lines and contrasting fields of color speak of the constant conflict between who we are and who we would like to be.
The rats, a metaphor for humanity, intertwine with the figure of the artist himself: both man and rat, suspended in an intermediate… dimension, fragile and ferocious. This ambivalence becomes a search for meaning and love, which emerges through the plurality of colors, signs of the possibility of embracing diversity as a path to salvation.
Using a mixed technique that combines the materiality of acrylic with the lightness of tempera, the work constructs a tense and visceral visual universe, in which chaos becomes language and conflict opens up to new forms of beauty.
