About this artwork
THE ROOTS, OUR ROOTS, ARE IN THE GENES IN THE EVEN UNCONSCIOUS OF GENERATIONS AND GENERATIONS AFTER, THERE ARE INEXPLICABLE THINGS AS SO MUCH THEY ARE IMPALPABLE. BUT SO DEEP AND RELATIVE.
Mulia
France
« Self-taught, instinctive, spontaneous, positive, and colorful, I am an artist of the moment. »
Mulia is an artist based in France whose paintings have been widely exhibited nationally. Identifying with the art brut movement, her distinctive works often delve into themes relating to families, couples, childhood, and our roots. For Mulia, the title of each piece is of the utmost importance, she likens it to the punctuation of a piece and the completion of a visual sentence.
