Born in Belgium in 1960, Muriel Cambier discovered the joy of creating at a very young age alongside her grandfather. Much later, she learned that one of her ancestors, Louis Gustave Cambier (1874-1949), was himself a painter: an artistic lineage that resonates today with her own journey.
Trained in visual arts education, she taught for eighteen years, notably with children and teenagers with special needs, before directing a residential socio-cultural center for young people for twenty-four years. Transmission, openness to others, and the strength of human connections thus permeate both her life and her work.
Now living in Normandy, Muriel Cambier devotes herself entirely to painting. For nearly twenty years, she has exhibited regularly in France and Belgium. Her abstract and symbolic world, characterized by vibrant colors, invites everyone to journey into their own inner landscapes.
