The repeated inscriptions “2.0” symbolize the new era, that of a dematerialized universe where value becomes virtual and trust abstract.
Beneath its vivid colors and… ink overlays, Chèque en bois questions with irony and sensitivity the crisis of economic promise, the disappearance of real support, and the mutation of social bonds in the digital age.

Muriel Deumié is a self-taught French artist engaged in a free and instinctive process of exploration that she describes as Sanzism—a personal movement without labels or boundaries.
