My Body is BAE (My body Before Anything Else) is not to remind the viewer of what the society says He/She is, but it recalls the fact that beauty and the love of one's self dwells in the heart. As the words are boldly stated on the painting, the artist's wish is to recall the viewer of His/Her beauty as He/She views the painting everyday.

Aziseh Emmanuel is an award-winning painter and draftsman whose works have been exhibited in France, Cameroon, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, USA and Spain. Describing himself as a humanist, his art proposes a positive vision of the world in its universality, evoking notions of peace and love through the portrayal of children with flowers in their hands. In so doing, Emmanuel believes that the viewer is confronted with a voluntary deconstruction of national identities and the abolition of boundaries, which are sources of constant conflicts.
