About this artwork
This form is an abstraction of a bone form. This stone is from the Country of Georgia- and is called Atlantic Black Marble. Something unique about this stone are the white flecks through out, that are reminiscent of sea shells.

Myles Howell is a contemporary sculptor from the US with national exposure. He received his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Sculpture from USU in 2013 and recently received a Masters Degree in Sculpture. Using various types of precious stone, Howell crafts sculptors that seem to float away from the ground despite the density of their medium.
