Although the jar is transparent and the koala is clearly trapped inside, no one seems to intervene or open the lid. The image thus becomes a powerful metaphor for psychological violence: it is present, obvious, and visible, yet it is ignored. The jar acts as a barrier between the koala's suffering and the outside world. The bubbles in the jar could represent the isolation and silent suffering.
