Soul Connection is an acrylic abstract using the soft colours of mainly teal and white. It is a contemporary painting that gets its inspiration from the patina of old buildings and the sense of time worn familiarity they have about them. Myra wanted to convey a feeling of coming home to something that is comfortable and nurturing. She has achieved this through layers of acrylic paint with marks made from scratches, pencil, and built up areas…
