About this artwork
This painting was inspired by the 1980’s song Walking On Sunshine. The artist wanted to paint a canvas that was bursting with vibrant colour and she chose this song to paint along with as it inspired joy in her. She also read that a hospital in New York plays it to boost morale every time a COVID 19 patient gets well and is discharged. Walking On Sunshine was created to symbolise hope, energy, vitality and love. It is a visually exciting painting…
that exudes happiness. This painting was made from acrylic paint, gloss medium, coloured washes and gloss varnish. It has a textured surface with various finishes, patterns and marks. The sides of the canvas have three coats of white paint. It comes ready to hang with the artist’s signature on the front and back. A signed certificate of authenticity is provided along with information about the artist. It is registered in the National Registry of Australian Art and Artists, registration number supplied.
