About this artwork

This was the third tapestry that I wove for the Law of Three Series for which The Law of Three appears as part of the spiritual teachings in the writings of G.I. Gurdjieff in his book "All and Everything, Beelzebub's Tales to His Grandson, An Impartial Criticism of the Life of Man" - it is a law of the universe that functions in our lives as well as in everything in the universe. I had others weaving with me for in the Gurdjieff "Work" we use daily… activities and crafts as spiritual endeavors to build our higher being bodies. We the weaving was crookedly shaped, so I blocked it and pressed it so much the T-pins rusted and added a crown of thorns around the edge of the tapestry making it truly a one-of-a-kind artwork.
