About this artwork
In this work I have fused acrylic, pastel, pencil and charcoal to capture the vibrant essence of human expression. My figurative style meets expressionism to depict an emotional dance, full of passion and movement. Each line is imbued with an energy that bounces beyond the canvas, inviting the viewer to feel the intensity and freedom conveyed. This piece will bring a bold touch of life and a spirit of spontaneity to your space.
« The canvas becomes the skin, the body for my expression. »
Born in Armentières in northern France, she has lived in Draguignan, Var, since 1983. BACKGROUND: A nurse until 2010, when she became a professional painter. Her passions include drawing and painting, ceramics, and sculpture. She participates in numerous exhibitions and is interested in contemporary art. She has participated in many international contemporary art fairs. EDUCATION: University studies and numerous workshops in various techniques. ARTISTIC APPROACH: Primarily visual, "I seek a rich, structured, and powerful painting, where graphic design, materials, and colors are interwoven, an approach where semantics take a back seat and are reduced to the living," without socio-political pretensions or verbosity. The medium: canvas, which becomes skin, a bodily expression. The depicted element tends to disappear in favor of lived experience, my own, but also that of the viewer. Large formats are generally preferred, as they lend themselves to gestural expression.
