About this artwork
Using acrylic paints, I captured the energy of London – the vibrant interplay of light and architecture that makes the city pulsate. Intense colors and dynamic forms are characteristic of my paintings and clearly evident in this work. The skyscrapers and bridges are reduced to their geometric shapes but are still recognizable as a skyline. My works are intended to depict the subject from a distance and, up close, to reveal the individual surfaces… from which the image and the skyline were constructed.
This image brings a powerful, inspiring atmosphere to any room and allows the viewer to immerse themselves in the multifaceted soul of the metropolis.
The design consists of two separate images, each measuring 120 cm wide x 100 cm high, together resulting in a total size of 240 cm wide x 100 cm high. (Easier to transport)
Nadine Giehl is a painter and architect specializing in interior design, working primarily with acrylic paints, filler, and shiny particles. She uses filler techniques to create three-dimensional effects and interprets geometric and architectural motifs such as skylines and staircases in her own unique, colorful way. Her works convey a fascinating blend of urban tranquility and inspiring perspectives, inviting the viewer to pause and discover new perspectives in the images.
