About this artwork
Early this year Nadja HOLLAND started working on this series of large format portraits. The expressive writing underlines the presence of the eyes of the witnesses who observe with empathy and conscience our time. The textures allow the gaze to circulate and allow the viewer to introspect. Thus resonates the gaze of the portrait with the perception of the viewer.

Nadja Holland is an artist based in France whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Switzerland and Sweden.
