About this artwork
Oil on canvas. His inspiration is quite abstract and enigmatic. He chose this piece because in the center is the stone called The Disc of Festus, a clay disc with inscriptions on both sides that was found in the Minoan palace of Phaestus, near the Hagia Triad, in southern Crete.
The purpose of the use and its origin have not yet been determined, which has made this object one of the most famous mysteries of archeology in the Mediterranean.
It… is believed to have been created around 1750 BC. C., which would make it the first written document in history. After its discovery, over a hundred possible translations have been published, but none of them have been fully admitted by experts.
All this projected in his style, abstract and always allowing color to guide his painting.
