In Nalac's studio, the theme of angels comes up very often. The artist, often in a dreamy and positive mood, believes in his guardian angels and sees this painting as a protector of the house.
This great work was exhibited at the International Salon of Contemporary Artists of Saint-Tropez 2021 during which Nalac won the first prize of the city and of the international association of contemporary artists.
It has the particularity of taking the… light very easily. During the day, its background color will be rather maroon, then revealing the luminous wings of the angel. In the evening, under warm lights, it will turn golden and make the room shine.
Rust is subtle in color and texture.
