About this artwork
This painting was made on a rusty steel plate.
Blue is a color that Nalac particularly likes to work with. Native of Guadeloupe, she titled her work "Petite Terre" in homage to her roots and her native land that she cherishes.
A medium plate with eyelets for the eqt hook affixed to the back of the work. This allows the painting to be detached from the wall by 1.5 cm and therefore allows the edge and the material to be clearly seen once hung.
The… rust and the irregularity of the sheet metal give a very authentic character and go perfectly with the shades of blue worked vertically which, together with the grip, brings a very modern aspect to the work.
