About this artwork
How can one find inner stability in the midst of change? This book invites us to explore this question in a personal way.
While creating this work, I experienced contrasting states: calm and movement, clarity and disorder. A bright, expansive surface opens up above, while forms and structures condense below. It's like a breath of air and, at the same time, tightness. Both are present.
For me, the art lies in finding the center, opening the heart… space and letting go.
It was created with pigmented alcohol ink on synthetic paper. To reveal the subtle contrasts and organic depth of the work, I am offering it as a high-quality fine art print on Hahnemühle paper. The edition is limited to 10 copies and is hand-signed.

Nane Toas is a German artist who, after several years in brand communication, turned to fine art. Her work is dedicated to transformation, consciousness, and the inner landscapes of humankind. Her works are created in a process-oriented workflow using materials such as alcohol ink, acrylic, mixed media, resin, and, in some cases, digital transfer to canvas.
The works combine intuition and precision, unfolding visual worlds ranging from geological formations and landscapes to emotional and imaginary spaces and symmetrical, meditative compositions. Nature plays a central role, not as a motif, but as a mirror of inner processes. Just as landscapes are shaped by external forces, people's inner landscapes also change, often unconsciously. Her works make these layers visible and invite us to pause and perceive our own inner spaces more consciously.
