About this artwork
PRAY (2023)
77 × 77 × 8 cm
Materials: 3D CORE image CG inkjet print, washi paper, collage, acrylic, chlorine, polymer, canvas, antique-style frame
This work embodies a spiritual offering that transcends fixed values and boundaries. The phrase “wish for peace” repeatedly emerges like a visual mantra, while the image overflows beyond its antique-style frame—symbolizing a prayer that breaks free from conventions.
The base is a self-created digital… graphic, transferred onto washi paper and physically transformed through collage, painting, and layers of acrylic, chlorine, and polymer. These materials form a richly textured surface where memory, hope, and presence converge.
The act of prayer expands beyond the frame, drawing the viewer into a meditative space where emotional and temporal layers quietly resonate.
