About this artwork
Deep royal blue frames a piercing eye, a symbol of clarity and vision. Golden strokes, like filaments of light, intertwine around it, evoking the beauty of scars healed according to the Japanese philosophy of kintsugi. These golden marks, far from being imperfections, celebrate the resilience and strength that emerges from adversity.
The name "Ryan" means "little king" or… "illustrious." It embodies inner nobility, the ability to shine despite hardships. The eye, at the center of the composition, invites us to look beyond appearances, to discover the royalty that lies dormant within each of us.
This work is an invitation to embrace our own scars, to transform them into sources of light and beauty. It reminds us that true strength lies in our ability to rise again, to rebuild ourselves, to radiate our own brilliance.
