About this artwork
"Seamless Augmented Waterdrops" is about the cohesive effects of water molecules permitting a drop of liquid to form and maintain a spherical shape that will roll on a surface without breaking apart. A drop or droplet is a small column of liquid, bounded completely or almost completely by free surfaces. A drop may form when liquid accumulates at the lower end of a tube or other surface boundary, producing a hanging drop called a pendant drop.

Nasko Atanas, a painter who resides in Denmark, creates environmentally friendly and sustainable art from recycled materials. He upcycles heavy cardboard, wood and gypsum to create 3D artworks, using non-toxic glue and acrylic and oil paints. While his subject matter varies, the brilliance of colors and environmental responsibility are always at the forefront of his creations. Atanas also uses materials such as used cigarette packs, milk and cigar containers, and paper.
