My inspiration for inverted is based on inversion: the inside of a person is invisible, and we only see what people choose to show.
This visual inversion accurately reflects the idea that a person's inner self, often complex and teeming with life, remains hidden, while the exterior appears smooth, controlled, sometimes opaque.
