About this artwork
In my work I explore the essence and depth of minimalism through gouache, which fluidly yet firmly finds its forms on the canvas. This abstract representation on natural fabric is reminiscent of the organic, writhing seaweed that dances ceaselessly to the hidden rhythm of the ocean waves. Hereby I invite the viewer to discover the silence and calming complexity in the simple forms.

Natacha Di Nucci is an experienced Swiss artist whose work has been exhibited nationally as well as in France and Italy. As a contemporary artist, she is always in search of the essential, with nature as her driving force. In her minimalist works, she explores the central theme of the visible and invisible traces that we humans leave on our environment, on other living beings and on nature. Di Nucci's distinctive works are usually created with pigments, ink, gouache and collages on canvas. Her works are characterized by their pure and minimalist character.
