In this sculptural work, I wanted to capture the rustic and authentic essence of country living. I meticulously assembled wooden elements, each chosen to evoke a sense of nostalgia and belonging. The meticulous details and warm textures invite touch, evoking traditions and forgotten memories. This sculpture is a tribute to the simplicity and beauty of nature and craftsmanship, a celebration of the harmony… between man and his environment. It brings a peaceful and comforting energy to any living space, reminiscent of a bygone era.

Natacha Gillot is a French-based artist whose work has been featured in solo exhibitions nationwide. She describes her artistic approach as always guided by a common thread that encompasses the depth of everything around us, the imprint of life, and perspective—all stemming from a philosophy of life. Gillot's abstract and conceptual compositions are digitally conceived and then created on canvas or wood by structuring relief with sand and modeling paste. Acrylic paint is then used to illuminate and color her works.
