About this artwork
Around a circular structure, small figures connect to each other, forming a delicate pattern, almost like human lace.
The gaze is drawn towards the center, then is guided along these raised lines, like a continuous circulation between beings.
The material reinforces this feeling of vibration and fragility, evoking both the strength of the collective and the delicacy of the links that compose it.
The work offers a sensitive reading, where everyone… can project their own perception of connection, balance, and interdependence.
« Let your painting always be an opening to the world. -Leonardo da Vinci »
Natacha Gillot is a French-based artist whose work has been featured in solo exhibitions nationwide. She describes her artistic approach as always guided by a common thread that encompasses the depth of everything around us, the imprint of life, and perspective—all stemming from a philosophy of life. Gillot's abstract and conceptual compositions are digitally conceived and then created on canvas or wood by structuring relief with sand and modeling paste. Acrylic paint is then used to illuminate and color her works.
