About this artwork
This artwork presents an ethereal scene, evoking a landscape shrouded in mist. The shades of blue and gray blend harmoniously, creating an atmosphere that is both mysterious and calming. The use of vertical and horizontal lines suggest architectural structures, while the subtle textures add depth and movement to the composition. The vertical blur effect accentuates the impression of rain or fog, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the vastness… of the landscape. The central luminosity draws the eye towards a distant horizon, engendering a sense of hope. This work is distinguished by its ability to evoke emotions through a blend of technique and minimalism. It is a visual exploration of tranquility and infinity, captivating the imagination with its ambiguous representation of time and space.

Natacha Gillot is a French-based artist whose work has been featured in solo exhibitions nationwide. She describes her artistic approach as always guided by a common thread that encompasses the depth of everything around us, the imprint of life, and perspective—all stemming from a philosophy of life. Gillot's abstract and conceptual compositions are digitally conceived and then created on canvas or wood by structuring relief with sand and modeling paste. Acrylic paint is then used to illuminate and color her works.
