About this artwork
"Eternity" unfolds as a contemporary abstract painting in monochrome black and white tones and is part of the series "Majesty of Nature." The work depicts the quiet grandeur of a mountain landscape, austere and eternal, becoming a symbol of what endures through time.
The richly textured surface of acrylic and modeled clay lends the painting tangible texture and relief, creating depth, presence, and material power. Light and shadow seem to wander… across the stone-like form—like time flowing over rocks.
This work is a silent homage to nature and its elemental power. Reduced in color, yet rich in expression, it invites you to linger and become still. A transparent UV varnish protects the surface and imparts a subtle sheen. The pages are colored. The work is presented in a white wooden frame but can also be sold without a frame. It was part of an exhibition in Germany (Stadthalle Alpen, North Rhine-Westphalia, 2025).
Natalia Kison is a contemporary artist working at the intersection of painting and relief. Her practice explores matter as a vessel of memory, where surface, trace, and form become inseparable. Working with acrylic, marble powder, and texture pastes she creates textured, tactile surfaces that allude to archaic symbols and geological structures. Her artistic language is rooted in materiality, symbolism, and the inner expressiveness of form.
