About this artwork
The work is made on thick chalk paper with non-standard dimensions of 50x105 cm in the original technique: encaustic (hot wax painting), acrylic paints and colored varnishes. The whole is protected by spraying acrylic clearcoat.
Due to the large format, it is not framed in the passe-partout. Requires a frame - frame + plexiglass or thin glass.
A bright and unusual decoration on a red background shows a stylized silhouette of a miraculous tree on… which various fruits grow. It will probably be a distinctive accent to the bedroom, living room, office, kitchen and children's room.
Signed on the reverse with an original monogram.

Natalia Pastushenko is an experienced painter and sculptor based in Poland who has exhibited her work internationally. She is inspired by any and everything: dreams, books, an overheard conversation... and her works are attempts at capturing the intangible. The visual result of her experiments and explorations is a vibrant aesthetic full of swirling shapes and curious characters.
