About this artwork
This artwork is reflecting on the circle and the square, an attempt to combine the contrasts between red and blue, cold and warm, round and square. It consists of 2 squares 42x42 (this is a diptych). Each square (watercolor part) is a passe-partout for an ornamental insert. In the watercolor part of the work there are rectangular cutouts for blue inserts with patterns. Ornamental inserts are made on a different type of paper with other materials:…
ink, markers. The whole thing looks very interesting thanks to the combination of too different textures and colors.

« I consider my own works as my personal set of symbols or signs which even I can’t always explain myself. Often the viewer makes it for me. This takes the form of a kind of puzzle game with the viewer. »
