« I consider my own works as my personal set of symbols or signs which even I can’t always explain myself. Often the viewer makes it for me. This takes the form of a kind of puzzle game with the viewer. »
Natalia Pastushenko is an experienced painter and sculptor based in Poland who has exhibited her work internationally. She is inspired by any and everything: dreams, books, an overheard conversation... and her works are attempts at capturing the intangible. The visual result of her experiments and explorations is a vibrant aesthetic full of swirling shapes and curious characters.
