About this artwork
In this vibrant oil painting, I wanted to capture the rustic charm and warmth of the autumn harvest. Each stroke of the brush brings to life the textured skins of the pumpkins, their colors ranging from deep ambers to rich violets under the mellow sun. This piece is an expression of abundance and thankfulness, and aims to inject a cozy, comforting atmosphere into any space it graces.

Natalia Vasil, raised in St. Petersburg, honed her art in painting and drawing, deeply rooted in the early 20th-century Russian avant-garde and its use of lines, forms, and diagonals. Beneath the surface of each painting lies a complex artistic tapestry of constructivist ideas. Each of her diverse techniques generates a palpable tension, giving life and texture to her work. Natalia's pieces express both the rigor of constructivism and the vitality of natural expression, in a harmonious dichotomy that evokes a profound emotional response.
