About this artwork
This painting captures a gentle urban landscape filled with warmth, calm, and a cozy atmosphere. The bear sculptures by the water feel like living parts of the scene — quietly observing, as if waiting for someone to come and reflect, or simply enjoy the moment.
The setting is full of harmony: old architecture, lush green trees, soft light, and water that mirrors the sky. The artwork radiates a sense of safety — as if this city is always ready to… embrace you.
More than just an image, this is an invitation to slow down and feel peace. A place you’d want to return to, again and again. A painting created to bring a sense of comfort and quiet joy into your everyday life.

Artist Biography – Natalie Vink
I was born in 1974 in Western Ukraine and have been passionate about painting since childhood. At 10, I began formal art education and later graduated from the Ivan Trush College of Decorative and Applied Arts in Lviv. I further developed my skills through private lessons with renowned Ukrainian artists. Since 1990, I’ve actively participated in international and national exhibitions. In 2015, I became a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. I moved to the Netherlands in 2022, where I continue my artistic journey.
I work in the impasto technique using acrylics, blending impressionism with expressive elements. My paintings often depict vibrant cityscapes — especially Amsterdam — as well as seascapes, nature, and the feminine form. Using thick textures, bright contrasts, and a strong emotional focus, I strive to convey beauty, depth, and positive energy through my art.
