This piece started from a simple gel print and grew into a layered portrait of a woman caught between fire and darkness. The multiple layers of gel printing, acrylics and lines let the face appear as if it is slowly emerging from chaos. The flowing orange and black shapes suggest burning thoughts, heavy emotions and the traces they leave behind.
Viewers are invited to feel both attraction and discomfort. The sensual mouth contrasts with the almost… empty, dark eyes. Gel printing was chosen for its unpredictability and rich textures; the loose, nervous line work reflects the way intense feelings rarely follow clean outlines. The style sits between abstraction and figuration so that each viewer can project their own story into this face.
I am an artist born in Belarus and have lived in Germany for 25 years. My artistic journey began early: I attended an art school in Belarus for six years, and later studied fashion design in Minsk. These formative experiences have profoundly influenced my understanding of form, color, and material, and continue to form the basis of my style. After many years of personal and professional development, I have consciously placed my art at the center of my life and pursue the goal of exhibiting my works and making them accessible to an international audience. In my work, I use acrylic paints, fineliners, and experimental mixed-media techniques. Thematically, I explore emotions, personality, and inner strength. My works combine vibrant layers of color with clean lines and move between contemporary figuration and poetic abstraction. Human beings are my primary source of inspiration.
