Balancing in Chaos explores the experience of navigating uncertainty — the intuitive search for direction when life offers no clear map. Dark abstract layers create a space of the unknown, while light painterly gestures suggest an imperfect, nonlinear path forward.
Integrated LED elements cut through the canvas like moments of guidance, clarity, or decision. Their changing light becomes part of the work itself, allowing the viewer to choose which… illumination leads the way — a reminder that even in uncertainty, we participate in shaping our direction.
This piece reflects the tension between confusion and trust, chaos and balance, darkness and self-guided movement. It speaks to the deeply human process of finding one’s way not through certainty, but through intuition, adaptation, and inner resilience.

Nata Chebarkova (b. 1991) is a Cyprus-based abstract artist exploring inner freedom, spirituality, and emotional transformation. Born in Russia, she studied industrial design and academic art at Ulyanovsk State University before turning to intuitive, body-driven expression.
For Chebarkova, abstraction is a way to transcend inner and outer boundaries. Her paintings, performances, and installations investigate identity, presence, and the divine, combining physical gesture with contemplative depth. She views the creative process as a bridge between the human and the spiritual.
She is a member of the Association of Mediterranean Artists (AMA Cyprus) and founder of ARRT, a creative community. Her work has been exhibited in Cyprus and Russia, and in 2023 she received the Talent Prize in the Abstraction category from Art Show International Gallery (Los Angeles).
“My art,” Chebarkova writes, “invites viewers to pause, feel, and reconnect with the divine light within.”
