About this artwork
Painting is a part of the "Red series" made during the first lock-down in 2020 where we all felt strong feelings, both of anguish and anxiety and in the same time some kind of melancholy. The portraits in this series seem like fading dreams, like a memories of the people that we care about and that now are becoming so distant.

« I am an extremely honest artist, both in my work and in my life. I believe that art should be pure, without deliberate influences, or only those that are processed subconsciously. »
Nebojsa Dimovski is an award-winning artist based in Bosnia & Herzegovina whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Spain and Italy. Through his distinctive figurative works, he explores emotions, especially sadness, as well as social themes and the simplicity of everyday existence. Dimovski compares his intuitive and rhythmic artistic process to a jazz musician jam session.
