« To begin, my hands must take charge, giving shape, form, and spirit to the inanimate. I play and create within the magical realm of the material and the mystical. »
Neil Clifford is a Canadian sculptor whose works have been exhibited both nationally and in the United States. He describes his art as being a celebration of the natural world, its wildlife, and our relationship to the earth. Clifford's goal is to offer viewers a perspective on the power and spirit of animals in their environment. He creates using bronze, stone, and wood, following the mold-making, bronze casting, and final mounting processes himself.
