About this artwork
This work is an ode to nostalgia and reunions. Entitled The Return, it marks my artistic rebirth, being the first painting made after a long break. It symbolizes my return to my studio, to my home, and to the precious memories that are anchored. I chose to represent this scene in the old market, a place loaded with emotion and memory, this painting captures the essence of a return to the roots 'to what is old and timeless.'
