This photograph is part of my "metamorphosis" series.
She explores the theme of metamorphosis through evolution, transformation and change in various forms, capturing physical, emotional or symbolic transitions.
Charles Baudelaire, in his collection Les Fleurs du Mal, highlights themes of inner transformation, beauty and decadence, duality between the ideal and the sordid, and the quest for escape.
Here a deep melancholy is expressed, as if everything… were frozen in time, impossible to escape from Baudelairean spleen, like an invisible but intense metamorphosis.
