Dried flowers - enjoy your timeless flowers and preserved beauty!
I wanted to preserve this fine bouquet out of my garden, like forever. The Wild bunch of flowers is painted very graphically and powerful with strong broad brushstrokes and vigorous lines in the colors sky blue, a hint of terracotta and enticing chocolate dark brown. Visitors described the painting (at my solo-exhibition, end of 2021) as: strong, healthy, and full of energy. Others… found it very mysterious and magical.
But not only did I want this bouquet to immortalize in a painting, but also be preserved for lots of years physically in my home. I Picked this lovely bunch of flowers in the morning just before the blooms completely opened. In that way ensuring me of Everlasting/Longlife/Preserved flowers, after drying them.
