About this artwork
A second large landscape from the same series as 'Landscape (P)'. This painting was inspired by my experience of walking along an ancient (Bronze Age or perhaps earlier) processional routeway used by prehistoric people to cut through the Pentland Hills. The particular location on which this image is based is situated near the remains of three cairns.
