About this artwork
This painting captures a stylised forest alive with colour and quiet movement. I used rich blue and rust tones to shape the trees, layering brushstrokes to create depth and texture across the forest floor. The scene feels both familiar and dreamlike, rooted in nature but filtered through emotion and memory.
I was inspired by the Canadian landscapes I experienced when attending an Artist in Residence in Quebec. I loved the way light shifts through… trees at dusk, how the landscape holds stories, even in silence.
I hope the viewer feels immersed, as if they’ve stumbled into a moment that’s both wild and tender. The expressive style allows me to push beyond realism, using colour and form to evoke mood rather than detail. It’s about atmosphere, connection, and the quiet magic of being surrounded by nature.

His cityscapes and Favela series transform dense urban layouts into lively visual choreographies, inviting viewers into a world brimming with poetic humanity. His art strives to evoke atmosphere and emotion, encouraging an immediate, visceral response from anyone who encounters his work.
