About this artwork
Infinity winter is part of the “Birchs perception” series. Nicole was influenced by the serenity of the white landscapes of Quebec. Filled with light, lonely birch trees border a deep blue waterfall. The movements of the spatula form a calm and peaceful environment. The observer can recognize in the composition of this painting an expressionist tendency oriented towards abstraction and gestural painting.

Nicole Caron is a French-Canadian artist whose paintings have been featured in numerous solo exhibitions across Canada. Through her art, she strives to represent light, the landscapes of Quebec, and nature in all its forms, which are profound sources of inspiration for her. She describes her compositions as offering light, clarity, spontaneity, and above all, a great deal of energy. Caron's semi-figurative pieces are created using oils, acrylics, resin, and lacquer on canvas.
