About this artwork
One of my plein air paintings, where I tried to capture the light of the summer Sun. When I came to the place I was inspired by the bend of the path, that goes to the Sun. I believe, that you can find something symbolic here.

Nikolay Dmitriev is an artist based in Russia whose paintings have been featured in numerous solo exhibitions nationally. His artistic practice is based on the study of nature and he often creates in plein air. Dmitriev's landscapes and still-lifes fuse realism with impressionism. For him, the preservation of vitality and vivacity of the subject matter, coupled with the fine detailing is of the utmost importance. He creates using oils and pastels on canvas or cardboard.
