About this artwork
Ambivalent elements compete with one another in this surreal composition: a letter with overpainting, two spiky organic found objects, and bitumen, which, like dark tar, appears menacing. Amidst all these elements stands a human being, who seems utterly lost. My intention was to make the tension between the visible and the hidden palpable, a tension that unfolds anew with your senses with every glance and fills your home with a mysterious energy.
