About this artwork
I call this piece “Time-out.” My inspiration was a result of personal loss, caused by the 2025 California Wildfires. The fire destroyed my wife's childhood and family home, forcing us to settle in a place that feels strange and unfamiliar. With all the destruction and devastation around me, it just felt like I needed a moment to feel some peace.
