Latitudes of Containment ist eine Serie von Selbstporträts, die zwischen Oktober 2020 und Februar 2021 während der COVID-19-Pandemie entstanden sind. Als sich mein Bewegungsradius auf einen Raum reduzierte, der kaum größer war als mein eigener Körper, ermöglichten es mir diese Skizzen die Grenzen des Selbstporträts zu erproben und zu erweitern. Meine Zeichnungen eröffneten eine Möglichkeit des Reisens als verkörperte, innere Erfahrung – eine Form…
der Bewegung, die sich innerhalb von Begrenzung und nicht über räumliche Distanz hinweg entfaltet.
