Hippo is a cool object and still so huggable and nice. He is made of Marble powder, mixed with different resins. He is solid and quite heavy. He is smooth and shiny and has a glamourous presence :)

Ninon Van Der Sande is an artist from the Netherlands who has exhibited internationally. Working from the principal belief that ‘all is one’, she incorporates her love of nature and animals into her pieces. Her bronze and marble sculptures verge on the abstract and sweetly capture the animals’ essence. In her painting and photographs, Van Der Sande searches for the ‘greatness of nature’ in showing the consciousness of something universal.
