About this artwork
Matatu is a common and famous name, in East African countries, especially in Kenya, which means public transport. The Matatu are one of their public transports that they use in their everyday life to move from one place to another, since not everyone owns a car. Matatu carry them and their baggages and their stuff. And the taller people you won't see them sit in behind seats, their long knees cannot fit into back seats, they always sit in the front…
seats or the seats behind the driver.
