He was inspired by how street vendors know the best size of clothes that sell most on the street.They always go to tailors to resize the clothes. And they become friends with tailors where no tailor can sew any clothes before the clothes of street vendors, they know that street vendors are everyday client of them, so they always sew their clothes before the other client's who bring their own clothes few times in a while.
